In 2018, I published my first fanzine for a self-publishing fair in Barcelona. That was my initial foray into book publishing, and I haven’t stopped since—it has now become my full-time profession.

For me, as an independent artist, this work is more than just coming up with a story. It involves managing the entire creative process, from initial drafts through writing and illustration, all the way to selecting the paper for printing the final volume.

My main role is to develop projects from scratch, tailored to the client’s needs. In most cases, the client is a scientist or a scientific institution looking to communicate a specific project or topic. From the very beginning, I immerse myself in scripting and content planning. We then move on to page sketches, followed by finalizing the text, and finally, the illustration, coloring, and layout of the book.

I like to say I’m an illustrator and writer, but behind the scenes, I carefully craft and oversee every step of the process to ensure the best possible outcome.
